I would rather spend anouther 7k for a malone 800 boat.......

15,000 for something you could probably build for maybe half that. don't really see anything special about it other than the gold edition stuff read: powder coated products and a graphics package

the motor is almost identical to his freestyle motor package on his site which sells for 2400..... take on another 6 for a new boat brings you to 8400, so your telling me everything else cost another 8 grand.... thats a little steep

how the hell are you going to build it for half that with a brand new boat????????:bs2:

remember, its only new once..

I came up with somewhere over $10K in parts alone, then the labor adds up quickly. I can see him selling these, and obviously since Wammer has been in business so long, he knows how to price them properly and sell stuff.

You can't dis someone's price, you may not pay that, but someone will.

Those graphics are HORRIBLE.

They could have come up with a better name than "Gold Edition" too. How does "Backflip Edition" sound:rolleyes: they could paint em pink too.

That being said. I am sure they will sell quite a few of them. There are people out there who would buy one.

brraap....thats so 2002
um....$15 grand is a good price....1st off wammer doent build these thing for his health...2nd i dropped 15 grand building a boat that isnt even close to being finished.........some guys from the build off last year had 20 grand invested in their boats.....iwouldnt build one to sell for less than $18,000.....i would have to scrape the big gold graphics in favor of something a bit more subtle.

Everybody's dissing <-(thanks for reminding that this was a word) the "Gold Edition" sticker - But do you have a "gold edition"? It's easy to dis something you don't have.

If I had a Gold Edition I'd have to keep the sticker on it.

But really, it would just be for the cheesy white trash appeal. You know, sometimes you have to love something every body else thinks is heinous.

Its easy to diss something I dont have because I dont have it, because its ugly. I may not have the money, but I do drool, just not over those graphics.
