This is a project i am working on for godoco . lowered the tray and widend the back 4 inches and the front 2 inches so we didnt have too redo the exhaust routing . This is for a race application to give it more a feel like the hydrospace tray area .

Nice. I have a hull I am about to redo this Winter.

I was thinking of doing what that dude in Daytona did with the no gunwales and the straps.

I was actually planning that for this winter. I was less concerned with looks and more concerned with how my ankles chafe against the side of the footholds. Figured if I could eliminate the side where my ankles chafe, I'd be good to go.

I am doing something like this very similar. My gunwales are about 1 1/4" wide, and I am making them like the SXR rails and the highest point of the gunwale will most likely be about 2" lower then the stock height for the yamaha gunwales. looks great though!

Speak up ,don't kiss azz
Just go flat deck ,I always wish the trays were wider .
if it's supposed to be easy it would be an SXR :bigok:

I have a new hull I'll be working on so I'm looking for idea's

Yes, it is an 08 SJ. When I rode a 08 SJ, I loved the ski..... hated the tray. Even after riding SJs for 15 years, once I got used to riding the SXR and the Hydro with their HUGE trays, I felt like me feet were tied together in the SJ hull. I think Lee's ski is going to be awesome.
