redoing my sx and the foam that goes under the gas tank is all mildew black nastyness... Can I paint this? with what paint and will it hold up in engine bay?

ill try it out first, if it dont work than just try and clean p best I can and run it. does kawi still offer the undertank foam or do people make their own/ get rid of it all together?

replace with new or just put hydro turf on the bottom of the tank and the hull where it sits. it will hold fine

Looks great, did you spray or brush it on? I know the brightside paint by interlux can be brushed.

Brush is fine , second coat covers the brush strokes
I sanded all first , then wiped with acetone to prep .
Just make sure its warm enough to get a good cure on the paint - I had to move mine into the living room to get warmer - ( wife loved that )
