I weighed mine the other night.

Goose pole setup, 650 pump, 61x w/ 650sx extended pipe, tdr box, kart tank, etc

270 without fire ext.

I'm going to get a lighter battery to drop another 6lbs off.
Plus i have to drop 20lbs off my ass.

FX-1 was designed for free style riding and never did well in IJSBA course racing. Persons using the FX-1 have won several free style competitions and is still in use. It was and still is the only PWC ever made specifically for free style.

This statement isnt quite true about the racing part.

There were racers like Chris MacCluggage and others that used the FX-1 to do their Slalom runs. They could get better times with the FX-1 than their regular race skis at that time.
i have talked to Chris in person about this before. Maybe someone can change it.

you are looking at inserts that are glued down on a fiberglass bottom. The blaster is built the same way.
