along with the standard 'how fast' and 'still make em' questions, I've been asked 'do y'all race them thangs'?

Great poll!

I haven't been riding long but I'm sure I'll get all the questions.

My favorite so far is...

"That looks easy, can I try?"

I let them try because I know they wont ride long enough to hurt it. Either they fail for 10 mins and get angry and give up, or I 'forget' to tell them to watch their nutz, and they get a Jet Drive Ski Punch the the scrotum, and give up right away.

I will say that I get quite a few people at the ramp come over to talk, interested in how I stay on when I go under, etc etc. They almost always ask the standard questions how fast and still make them, but it's always cool to get someone that's interested and kind of explain stuff to them.

yeah... I get the questions about barrel rolls all the time too... how do you stay attached when upside down in the air like that???

Slutty, Im sure the question you are asked the most is "Are they for rent?" The day I was over there I say we were asked at least 4-5 times.

I get "how fast" the most because Where I launch is usually filled with a ton of Puerto Ricans all sharing 1 three seater.:banghead:

Being in california, we get "but I thought you couldn't have those two strokes in california". I'd have to say that is the most common out here. Then we have to explain, "no, you just can't purchase them in california"

Ahh, my old SXR. Glad to see people still see 'er. Do you still have my old graphics on it? Is that why they ask "So your painting it, huh ?"

Sorry Chris, ever since my wife referred to them as "Grapevines" . . .the Tribal stuff had to go !

I really like the Kawi Green in combination with Black and White so I sat down and tried to come up with something that was a little more bold but still had a clean look to it.

It's kind of a combination of custom and a Factory look. Some won't care for it, some will . . . . Oh, well ! It works for me . . . .

 Good poll.

^^^ Like the paint scheme, looks good and racy. It does remind me of the late Honda moto schemes, though.

I like it when asked, "Are those allowed here?". Can't help but say, "No, they're highly illegal!", and then I grin at 'em. If I'm not wearing shades, I'll wink, too, to further confuse 'em.

It's also fun to tell people who ask how fast it will go, "Eh, about 30, 35." (Why not, people lie about it in the other direction all the time).

-"How much horsepower?"...
-"About 15, maybe 20- less if I'm running it on Tahoe..."

I would bet $1,000.00 that if there was actually the slightest bit of marketing done to sell these things, people may actually buy them...

We're use to it, but just think about how ludicrous it is that the most asked question we get is "Do they still make those"??... I mean any freaking moron can put 2+2 togther and deduct that maybe some marketing to colleg kids, or teenagers might be a half way decent idea... I know this sounds stupid, but it's almost like the companies sabatage themselves... How do expect to sell a product line, when no one knows they exist... It's truely amazing that we are sitting here in the year 2007 and most people after 30 years of production still don't know they exist... It's absolutely amazing and mind boggling!!!

WHy do they even make standups??? They have to be losing tons of money on them... What is the reasoning???

This sport is beyond the realm of comprehension... We got the most ridiculous sancioning body ever divised (IJSBA), w/ complete and utter morons running it (Fraizer) no marketing, no factory support. This is almost not even a sport. You will see underwater basket weaving on ESPN before Jet Skis again...
