Frozen Drive Shaft.

Has this ever happened to anybody? The drive shaft (Yamaha SJ) was frozen in the short shaft housing, after trying to get it out from both ends, I had no luck. Lastly I had to the cut the drive shaft to get both parts out.

Yep, Ive had that happen before... sux.

I use anti seize in there and it has never happened.

Ewok just finished installing a new set of shafts on his B1...

new grease zerks on:

midbearing carrier
pump cone
short shaft itself! :cool2:


only been there a couple of weeks, but there is definatly grease in the system! :Banane01:
