Hey guys,

i thought there was a vid. on FreeStyleFest 2007 ....what happen to it? i can find it on Surperjet.com...i'm sure there was 1 or 2 of them....

yes it has always been in Monroe, Mi. and in the past couple years the first day is in Ipperwash, Canada. thats how it will be this year also

sept. 20th in ipperwash and sept. 21st. in monroe, mi.

there were some 2-3 foot waves earlier in the day. they smoothed down to almost nothing pretty fast. maybe this year will be the year. the first year i went to ipperwash there were awesome waves, i think it was 2003. here's to hoping. whats with that little tiny flash in the video near the beggining..i know that ride spot.

damn... where's the tricks? Only thing I saw was a fountain... I loved the vids from freestylefest 03-06... looks like there wasnt the same person taking the video, and not nearly as much footage... I just want jetskee and whoever else that made those videos from past years to know how much we all appreciate your time... those videos rock! Cant wait for my JT videos from DJ...

lol.... wasnt saying I can do any better... (yet).... I just liked the videos from the past years...

I will be there this year though... if it is in Michigan... I wont be going to Canada... too far

I was 'surfing' the waves twice in tha video :Banane57: The waves werent big enough for anything too exciting. The action was further out, no ones camera could reach that far without major blur. It was fun but the waves just weren't there. :(

Yeh the Video was short ...and the waves even shorter.....i some how got my 4 sec. of fame in it as well ..:Banane36:!!....ah well it was a SICK turn out..with so many Skis.....hopefully this year we'll have more Vid's...

Just want to throw something out there....Anyone interested in having one at the start of the season as well? ...maybe mid-June in ipperwash? that way we start and end the season with :bananalama:

US guys..., what's the requirements with the passport situation at the border? Are we required to drop the $125 for passports or are drivers lisc and birth certs good enough for this year???

that area around the hot hole is so shallow you will NEVER get surf there.

before getting to the hothole the water is only about 3feet deep. you get some decent sized waves but there is barley a foot of water between them. the hothole itself is very deep, you wont ever hit bottom in there.

Just busting you man. :smokin:

Drive up to Monroe Friday night, crash somewhere and get sauced, wake up and split the gas money with someone to trailer up to Ipperwash for the day.

Less driving, fuel savings, and someone to talk to on the road.

Don't know who you'll go with but I guarantee someone from MI area can help you with a ride.
