ok.... lets quit the opinions, ideas, pipe dreams and make this happen.
I think we all agree that pro should be run whatever, so lets concentrate on the real issue here.

How do you want to see amature freestyle run in 2007???
lets make a descision here and go w/ it. I think if we get
enough people that comptete and/or want to compete a
chance to make a call...

just pick one option above.

write in a choice if I didn't lst it.

Pro class...run what you brung!

Am class...leave the current rules AND STICK WITH THEM! "no A/M hulls" unless you just want to perticepate for fun....no podium/trophy spots for cheater boats, but they can still compete.

slut what does this mean? Have to ask, not that I can compete this year unless there is a category for lame attempts. But some of my friends are pretty good and might not know what is up either. We are supposed to have some races and freestyle here in 07 Clearwater and st. pete.

There needs to be a format for judging, not based off "I think that guy did those flippy things real good, Huh, no, I did not see that, was too busy talking"

I am gonna try to come up with a score sheet and take it to the race in 2 weeks and see what Mike Thinks........

well, that is kinda bogus when you look at what WCF is doing, Steve is making lightweight hulls through Surf Hulls............. The surf hull probably weighs as much if not more than an OEM, so there would not be a benifit there........ But, lets try and stay on topic here.

A better option than limiting hulls would be to come up with a weight limit for the ski.

I like the idea of 2 classes, 1 & 4 on the list. 1 would basically be for someone to get their feet in the door for freestyle, look for some sponsors, and get some recognition. 4 would be for the top am's of today, basically no limit but engine and leave the pros for unlimited run what ya brung. Why have am's running the same ski the top pros are? my .02

I really hope this helps us come to an agreement on this... we need to vote and then move forward w/ our descision... start a petition or whatever... Lets make freestyle the best it can be for EVRYONE.

Thats if in fact a stock boat weighs 290lb and incluudes the battery.

There are plenty of ways to drop weight! It all adds up!

you are dreaming... mine weighs at least 320lbs... it has to. and ya can't run a boat w/ out reinforcements, so i don't even want to hear that.
