Yeh mine is the full length pro. Awesome in the surf.. I'm just running a ported 701, with 44s, Epic, lightened stock flywheel, shaved head and magpump..

Yeh jetmaniac it is awesome for the surf. I'm thinkin of upgrading to the SS865 but unsure if it's a good move. The main reason is because I want to be able to do flat water flips aswell but don't know if it will be to much power for the surf? What do you think?

I do use my trim all the time which is a bad habit I think. I know I don't really need to but I'm only just getting back into doing backy's again after a bad accident and just worried about coming up short in my flips I surpose.
I think I'll just disconnect it one day so I can use it haha

I can't / don't use trim in the surf to many things for my small brain to think about !
As for xscream 865 in the surf I will let you know soon .... Mine will be flat water and surf ski I was hopeing it will flatwater flip with enough skill ! Maybe you should come here and ride mine first lol
I rode a good few skis at daytona with 865 in and I would say they felt great in the 2 matrix I rode they felt perfect .the power is not so aggressive that it makes it snatchy or unrideable but still ALOT of power . At the end of the day I think a decent ported piped 701 is enough in the surf if the waves are nice but flatwater gets boring without more horses

The footage of you calling me a chicken somehow got accidently (on purpose) deleted haha.
I was wondering who that was in the background. I was just looking through the footage and saw it so cropped it in. Nice work!

I tried a can can backy the other day man but it wasn't pretty. Everyone said it looked sweet until my other foot came out.. Lucky the ski rotated around me and I landed infront of it. I'm going to get another strap to hold my foot in the lifter better then i'll be busting them out.
I think i'll have to disconnect my trim to stop me from using it. Its a bad habit i think.. lol

Well good effot buddy! And am glad we talked about what direction your first attempted 1 footed variation should go. I'd hate for your foot to come out with your other foot hanging out the back.....! Scary!

Yeh Zack thanks for you advise mate.. Really appreciated.. I think the can can flip looks cooler than hanging the foot out the back anyway.. i'll give it another go this weekend..

Infamy i have my go pro on r3 as it shoots at a 50frames per sec rather than 30 on the other settings. This makes the slow motion bits look more smooth..
I know Zac is going to tell me to get a cold fusion mount but I have mine stuck on the front with the standard mount then another standard mount next to it that to tie a safety strap to or zip tie.. I also have stuck a piece of foam on the back just incase it all gets ripped off and race tape it too which helps to stop in from rolling forward when you nose it in..
I've lost 4 gopros now so I dont take any chances anymore.lolphoto(4).JPGphoto(5).JPG

i love it. prepping your cam with cables and foam preparing for WHEN your camera falls off the cheap plastic mount MATE, QUIT IT! BUY THE DAMN MOUNT! YOU WILL HAVE MORE ANGLE OPTIONS ASWELL!

still love ya luke. just givin your stubborn ass a hard time!

Maybe that was a bit of a stupid post by me wasn't it??? lol.. Maybe I do take a few chances and like livin on the edge with cheap crap mounts.
Disregard everything I said infamy and just get a cold fusion mount hahaha
