Custom/Hybrid fracmanns eme q-8 / jetmaniac BB build

Ok, motor arrived yesterday, and all i can say is , this motor looks great! the attention to detail is unsurpassed by any builder ive seen yet. packaging was bullet proof, and all hardware was bagged and tagged. also came with a four page manual, with tips and tricks from unpackaging all the way to torque specs and routing lines. chris has responded to all 7000 of my questions very timely and has been very very helpful... two thumbs up for jetmaniac!!!! oh yea, one more thing, i called chris on tuesday and asked if we could upgrade the shipping because of the holiday weekend, i told him i would pay the difference, since i needed it by sat evening... his reply was, im on it.... next thing you know the package was on my door step friday morning....a day early! and he wouldnt charge me for shipping upgrade... (i think he jumped in the private maniac jet again and dropped it off) but at any rate, thankyou chris , i should be riding this weekend, just as i hoped!!!!!!!!!!!!!! another great product ive bought from jetmaniac with hassle free courtious service........

got everything buttoned up yesterday around 5pm, motor fired right up with a half a crank, it was sunny all day, loaded it on the trailor, for the short 1/4 mile trip to my boat launch, as soon as i pulled out of my driveway, `severe thunder and lightning storms and high winds plagued my area. WTF so i sat at the boat launch for an hour waiting for it to clear up, but it didnt. although i did back it in the water and fired it up on the trailor and let it run for 10 min.. it ran fine with no suprises , no leaks in lines, and no issues so far.. tonight after work i will be trying again. stay tuned!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night was the official first ride. i gotta say i love this thing, i put it in the water and rode it easy (breakin) for over an hour , on two gallon tank! periodically brought it in for inspection, one clamp on headpipe came loose a bit, tightened it up , and other than that it was like a turn key boat.. shoutout to maniac, for the braap, at even half throttle off a tiny wake this thing want to be upside down, also carb screws were close enough straight from maniac, all i did was hit the button, and rode it for an hour without a bog or a girgle... after break in i will dial it in... tonights session will conclude my breakin, so look for pics and maybe a video in the next day or so... thanks to all who have been helping out with the build, and all who are following the progress here on x!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bobert, see you in two weeks buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That motor looks good Justin, glad you're finally riding. BTW, I already upgraded the the ratchet strap to Jetmaniac. They were correct, first time I cranked the hood down tight it popped so your good to go there.
