Fast shipping with Christmas and all, talked to Steve on the phone, great guy! He shipped them out that day and they are here already, a set for my SXi and a set for the SJ. :woot:

you'll love those holds.
Hi Rickster-
My REVs showed up today and I start cutting tonight.
Couple of questions:
Why use 5200 when you will be mixing and playing with resin anyways? I plan to just use a small mix of the epoxy resin.
Why can foam and not 2-part foam? All the threads are down on "great stuff" and other spray cans of foam.
By fiberglass, I assume you mean ribbons or cloth fiberglass to be wetted down with epoxy, 2-part resin. You dont mean fiberglass like bondo or cheap polyester resin, do you?
Thanks, I am starting my first foothold install and I want to make sure I do it right!
I don't know what ski he's working on but I"m pretty sure the top deck is fiberglass on a roundie.don't use polyester on smc or metton unless it specifilcy says it's made for it... It won't stick.
Just use a mix of cloth and matte w/ a two part epoxy for the resin

best to grind both surfaces where applying the glass and 5200 would help the seal and couldnt hurt the strength
yup... use the roughest sand paper ya got... I use 36 grit and tear it up.. make sure you sand the turf and padding w/ 80 grit... that helps it stick good
yea 36 on a grinder would be easiest but if you have to do it by hand you can get a good shoulder workout:woot:
they have kawi 750's, so they'll be SMC.
One set is for the 750 and the other for the SN
