Surfriding Footholds on Fx1. How far back?

I am trying to set footholds on an Fx1. The measurements are different than my rn. So anyone remember where they set their holds? I plan to cut out the rear of the foothold like slutty does on his builds.

having chopped off the gunnels soo much you are already too far forward

I installed the wamilton rickter holds on mine an used the rn measurement it suggests. Worked out well, cleared the exhaust tube, an they felt perfect.

I put mine as far back as they can go. Having chopped the sides already, you probably are going to need a shortened pole or maybe just footstraps.

Mine looks to be cut the same as yours with the holds in the same spot but i also cut the bottom flush with the rideplate mounts.

Thanks for the input. May just go off what the rn has in it as I like those holds. I will post up some more pics as I go along.
