we slapped some footholds in tituscop's (buddy)ski. he ordered a turf kit before he knew that he was going to put in the holds so as you can see we worked with what we had.


the old turf was totally rotten so it was a huge pain to get off. this is buddy taken a breather from scrapping.

I made some templates to trace around out of cardboard.

I used about 2-3 layers around the holds and 4-5 one the tray.

yep wouldnt have been my first choice but at least its not pink or purple... it does the job. this is on one of the nastiest looking skis ever - all function over fashion on this ski.

this project took about a month and a half. it was so junkin drawn out it was rediculous. he didnt have the money to get the glass stuff so we got the turf up and the holes cut and then it sat for about a month. it prob only took 2-3 hours of real work to have it all done.
 
hahah...Jerry will kick your ass in the ugly department that is for sure.

I don't think the turf looks that bad...**** the haters...

One suggestion is that you find some straight bars to go along with the footholds...you will be amazed how much leverage that gives you over the ski!
