FX-1 Foot Straps

I ran a search in here looking for anyone that has put the Dakine straps in an FX1 but came up empty. I was going to put them in my SN but figure I might as well put them in the FX1 now that I have it.

So does anyone put them in the FX1's or is the tray to narrow?

I did. It was ok, but was very narrow.

I had to place one about 5 inches in front of the other to make it work and they still overlapped. It was a quick fix that lasted me the summer. But wouldn't do it again. I will have one in the front for surf stance though.

i just did the front strap with footholds. i didnt wanna put a rear strap on it because there would be no room in the rear of the tray to move your rear foot around for balance. you can also put a front foothold on like lbe did. i think krickon has that hull now.

I mounted mine like this. When normal riding i usualy put one back foot in and one foot up front. When i sub, stab or jump waves i put both in. They work great if u dont wanna cut up ur ski

EDIT: ITS NOT A FX1 ITS A 750 SX. IF YOU REMOVE YOUR SIDE PADS AND JUST TURF IT ALL UP IT SHOULD GIVE YOU MORE TRAY SPACE. THATS WHAT I DID
