im not sure how this happened. Last time I was out, I was riding my hurricane at plane about 3/4 throttle. Checking to see how my top end jetting is. Suddenly I hear a whistle sound, immediately went to the nearest shore and opened it up checking all the exhaust couplings. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me and I rode it from the beach to the trailer. Over about 1/4 throttle the noise seemed gone, and was now only whistling sometimes, kind of on and off. Who knows that could have been my mind being flustered and not wanting to hear the noise. So I trailered it and came home. I never expected this one.
Could this be the cause of the noise?
And what would cause this to happen?
Motor runs good and strong. I did have it with a oil pump on but not being used. I just had the pump on there to fill the whole, I'm not sure if that could cause it somehow. I'm really
Just fishing for a reason. It Almost seems like the crankshaft moved forward. But I really can't imagine that's possible. Didn't seem to affect jetting or anything. idle is great in and out of the water. It Still runs like the motor should from what I can tell. Sorry for the run on sentences and terrible typing.
Thank you in advance.
