i use one like that for fuel line connectors. makes the gastank easier to remove and set aside. i like that that part has different restrictors for the water flow. that could be handy for our temp ranges.

very reliable ,we use it as a flush kit as well.
the only problem ,it could get blocked by small shells very easy

it is just an inline restrictor with changeable restricters. Like said above, it can get clogged.

McMaster Carr also has the exact same connectors but without the restrictors. I was thinking of getting them so I could pull a gas tank or engine faster. Two worries come to mind. Ones it that it would get clogged as mentioned. Two is that if I get the shut off kind, (it shuts the flow off when the connectors are disconnected) that the connector could pop loose and hence shut off fuel or cooling water to my engine...

Besides that I need more than one and they aren't cheap. BK told me "that is something you can add on later". I am thinking he is 100% correct!
