I noticed a little difference. Its not like hitting a nitrous switch, but its more breathing for your engine

or you could save your money and just pull the boots from your stock box, & remove the fine screens out of the three filters & run it. I have had mine that way for 2 seasons with no problems and the stock cover helps to prevent water injestion. If you want more airflow you can open the bottom housing up and enlarge the boot holes

Im only getting them because when i took my stock box apart there was nothing in there, no screens or anything at all.... I would like a little protection.

In my opinion the K&N's are the strongest and most durable of the aftermarket filters. Especially with the vibration that the 800 SXR engine puts out. Haven't had any issues with the adhesives or the element coming apart, or with them popping off.

Mine are on their second season with no issues at all. Mine are half as short as the ones pictured above. My buddies blowsion arrestors broke the second time out. The top plate came right off while riding.

Kawi's stock air box is pretty solid! and if your a surf rider i would never switch to K&N just not enough water protection.....stay stock...it breaths great and has great water protection......
