Fixing up 1991 650 Superjet

I am fixing up a 1991 Super Jet I recently picked up. It presently has a 650 cc engine and I am going to put a 61x 701 cc engine in as well as repainting the machine.

Installed the stator, flywheel, and dyno cover. Installed the starter, battery cables and stock exhaust manifold. Inspected the electrical box and instaled a modified CDI. Picked you the Superjet hull and handlepole from Dave at Streamline Designs. Very Happy with the paint job. It really pops in the sunlight. Installed the engine. It is really coming together.

My avitar picture is 2nd beach at Knights Landing, about 15 miles upstream from Miller Park. How do you know about Miller Park? Are you from Sacramento, Stunt 318?

Yup. I used to do a show up there years ago in Vallejo riding jet skis. Moved up to Sac the last year of the show and lived there for a couple years. Love it up there! I plan on making a trip back up there sometime soon just to ride ride the river again!

Ski is looking great! Love the color!

Installled the stock pipe but diverted the flow of water exiting the head by installing a T fitting. Rebuilt the stock 44SBN carb. and installed new fuel lines. Removed the fuel petcock and choke and installed a new primer. Routed new water lines and installed an aluminum water exit. Installed the fuel tank.

I do not work for a shop, although I used to be in the industry. I used to be the service and parts manager for Cliff and Steve at Jetco from 1992 to 1997, and worked a few events for Kawasaki and helped Kathy and Andy at Anytime P.S. for a few years. I had no space at home to keep my skis indoors, so I rented a 2000 sf shop. All the ski you see in the pictures are my skis except the Kawasaki 650sx. I built it for a friend and he stores it there. My friend Bill keeps some stuff there too. He owns 4 Seasons Mobile Service & Repair. Here is a shout for Bill(916) 475-3336. He is a Ski Doo/ Sea Doo/ Can Am specialist. If you like retro posters here is my lounge and work bench. To help with rent I picked up Jet Pilot and a helmet brand. If someone needs parts I can get it.

I've known Danny for over 15 years. He raced a 440 and drove a late 70s Camaro back in the day, then raced a 750Zxi( I told him not to get it), before getting a XP800. I heard Stacy and Calvin got a divorce. We've probably met at one of Danny's get togethers when he lived in Citrus Heights.
