well i took her out yesterday for an after work ride. the place i rode has about 1 mile ride to the break. i rode in front of the truck for about 10 minutes to make sure it ran, and it ran great. got to the break and rode for about 10-15 minutes then she bogged and died. one it gets wet inside, it always dies. i still cant trace the problem. so swam it/stan dragged me ashore. i took his ski to my truck, loaded it, and drove to the break. the day ended with a great workout toting this pos for what seamed like miles up the beach

sooo. ive been workin on this thing and im almost done. i checked the relay and it turned out good. so i sent the ss switch and wiring harness to jss. i pulled the pipe to check the starter connections and they were ok. it was such a biitch to even take that thing off, i decided that there was no way i was putting it back on! so chris found me a coffmans sizzler pipe...

i really hope the problem is fixed sound i dont have to burn this thing to the ground ;)

tell me about it... it was such a pain in the butt to get my stock pipe off also... i was gonna leave the engine in the hull, but it pissed me off so bad, that I just pull the engine.

mine is almost done also.

well after i routed the waterlines like it shows in the coffmans picture, and made a gasket with cardboard and 1211, i hooked it up to water and ran it for awhile. the cylinders got really warm....too warm. and the water comin out of the pissers was cold......the reason i made a gasket insttead of using the fp gasket is that i noticed the water jackets in the mani match the ones in the headpipe...looked like water needed to go through there and i couldnt cut the holes in the metal fpp gasket....so when i got hot, and after talking to suva,, i pulled it apart and put on the fpp gasket, blocking the waterjackets...now she runs cool and pisses warm...

heres a couple more pics tryin to show the waterline routes
