Di...... TTTOOOOEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

thats the only part i hate... the 4 hour drive EACH WAY.. i mean, i'm down for the cause and all... and daytona beach break is the best spot in the world and all... but DAYUM...

so.. we doing a weekend trip next weekend or what? let's make this a saturday/saturday night/sunday day trip..

:splatt:

I'm probably only down for a daytrip.

Today went off! It was probably waist to chest.

I started with :barrel:

And then went right into :splatt: Almost landed a backy , then I stood up and the sandbar was only about waist deep.....

Gump did a nice nose job on his ski, probably on the same sand bar.

I broke my steering cable.

It was a good time!

sucked having to launch at Long point

though, hopefully the boat ramp is done soon.... If not, next time we will have a vehicle with the fuel Jugs On the north side "tide pool" area of the Jetty.

Nice meeting all you guys! It's always cool to have other's to ride with.

State park is open but the ramp is not. I was there 2 weeks ago and used a beach cart.

I'll definately be there on the 27th.
I'm in Misouri right now and gatta go get a big boat in St.Louis going to Alabamy. Then pick up another boat there going to Jacksonville and i'm home. My ski is ready.

nice!!!

so, we can't even beach-cart launch from the state park? launching from longpoint is going to SUCK.. specially if someone breaks down.

yeah... my boat is in no condition for that.... we would need a real boat w/ us w/ fuel and tools....

BOAT RAMP OPENS FRIDAY JULY 20, 2007

Over 40 days ahead of the September 4th deadline work has been completed to the point that the boat ramps can be reopened. There will be some minor construction equipment and supplies in the area so please use caution in this area. Thank you for your patience and enjoy your new ramps.

In case you’re wondering about the construction on A1A just south of the inlet bridge, we’re happy to be the recipient of new turn lanes into the popular day use area. Construction began in mid-May with an early summer completion date. Please use extreme care when driving in this area.

Remember to keep an eye on the weather – if you see lightning, make sure to get off the jetties and beaches and head for safety as soon as possible. With hot weather in the forecast the cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean may be just what you’re looking for. Please swim in the area with lifeguards. Have a safe and enjoyable summer!

Please remember that snook season is now closed and will not reopen until September 1st. If you are unsure of open or closed fish seasons, what fish are biting, size limits or don’t have fishing equipment, please stop by the Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop for fishing licenses, information, rental rods, bait and tackle.
