Fires in Southern California

I got a call from my mom last night. She had to evacuate her home walking her 3 horses between 6-10 miles on foot down a country road until she recieved help. She got the animals (5 horses 4 dogs and some farm animals) off the ranch, but other than the shirt on her back, she doesnt have anything.

She is one of many thousand people that are homeless at this time. I hope that the winds die down and that everyone in southern California get through this!

Got a call this morning, her house is the only one that made it in her entire area. She is also being evacuated from her work because thats also now in the path of the flames. Hopefully they will have an eathquake or maybe godzilla will show up and really add to the problems. Good thing we live in Texas!

that sux dude. i hope all is safe. i remember back in the late 90's central fl got hit with fires. the whole summer there was smoke in the air. but i don't think it was anywhere close to what is happening in ca. best of luck to all out there

that smoke really gets to ya after a while... we get wilddires over here too, but nothing like that horrible mess...

yeah its kinda crazy down here Im in Temecula and when I left our hotel there were 10 ppl here when i got back from school the hotel was packed as they evaced 300,000 ppl out of san diego. the winds even in Temecula were so crazy the shop door behind our dyno seems like it almost blew in lol

Buddy lost his house two nights ago.

My moms ranch is in Dulzura, and they are saying now that she will have no power for 2-3 months because all of the power lines got destroyed. San Diego is at 500,000 people evacuated....

Thats insane!

I used to live in Lemon Grove, just east of San Diego - beautiful area that entire county. kinda glad i'm not out there right now though.

Mom got to go to the house finally yesturday. Looks like another month or two until she can move back in. Heres a couple of photos. She got really lucky, guess she won the house lotto...
