What a great event! This is my 2nd WaveRave and this year was even better than last years!

Saturday was awesome....3 to 5 footers in the morning and afternoon... and then they died down to 2-4s around 5pm and then 1-3s around 7pm. Great waves and great riding. I counted 67 skis on Saturday (not counting the campground). I blasted through 3 tanks of gas because the waves were so good. I've got a lot of great video that will be up soon. This is the most beautiful beach I have ever been too. Super clean, white sand dunes and nothing around for miles...kinda reminds me of Mexico. The water on Lake Michigan is so clean, you can see fish swimming around below you. Fun afterparty on Saturday night. The Crew at Claybanks Park was great. The non-jetskiing campers were very friendly this year. There was no fire marshall anywhere. Nobody gave us any problems at all. I think they are getting used to us there and realize that we aren't causing any problems or hurting anybody. I made sure to buy my gas, food and supplies from the local stores.

Thanks to Chuck, Cindy, Partyboy, Partygirl, Bruins and everyone else who keeps this event going. Thanks to Pete for the amazing food last night! (Great Surprise!..the Bologna sandwiches were killing me). Thanks to XFTLou and Frank (Blaster800) for helping me fix my broken fuel fill.

Sunday there was just 1 foot chop, so I think that is why so many people took off early, not to mention work on Monday.

I was there last year and the year before, on saturday.
Was told yesterday's attendance was a lot more than today's.
Arived at 11 today and there were about 20 skis on the beach, but by 2 pm this is what it looked like.

Sorry You missed the best part of the ride ! Friday were killer waves /saturday were killer waves , This is my third trip and was the best one yet IMO . Its not the ocean but its the best thing in its own class , crystal clear SWEET water/ no washing/ bathing /or ski rinsing needed after dunking /just brush off the sand and your ready ! Just want to thank all who helped me scoot the B-1 around on the beach whenever i needed it, saved me some xtra energy for the waves !Thanks to Partyboy for diagnosing my grunting starter '' I was immediatly thinking my charging system took a crap ,but he noticed my pump was full-o-sand '' as I never look below the waterline! LOL ...so we dunked it and I was rippin again. Btw not even one ''state bird ''visited the campsite, with all the wind we had it must of blew them to canada ! twas a sweet trip !
