Fire Extinguisher relocation

Ok I just bought a 95 750sx and im going to put footholes in so that means that I will loose my fire extinguisher compartment. I know I can buy a relocater on Blowsion but I was wonder if I could make something for under the hood. The question is were do you relocate it under hood and does anyone have any pics of where theres is relocated to?

i have a mold for a relocation to the gunwhale. the part will glass in just like a foot hold and will have some available soon.

i cut a slot (just under half) out of 3 inch id pvc and glassed it in under my hood. it worked good all summer

it's just sandwiched between the pvc and the fire extinguisher. nothing ever came out of it's place with this setup except for the little safety clip thing a couple times.

yes it will until the ext goes off and destroys your motor. I have seen it happen.

ya. with the hood maods i might be doin this winter i will probly try sumthin like that

I relocated my battery and used an old Sea-Doo extinguisher holder. It just sits where the battery used to go. Its the orange tube in the pic. Ran it all summer and didn't have any problems.
