What can I use to coat a plug made out of wood with? I am using epoxy resin and am going to pull parts directly off the plug because they don't need to be pretty or exact. Hoping to use something I can find around the house for this, any ideas???

I use Johnson's paste wax, it comes in a yellow cylindrical tub. You can find it in the cleaning supplies section at Home Depot. Use about 3 coats and your glass will pop right off of the mold. Just make sure you clean all of the residue off of your part with acetone.

I've been told you can use Pam in a very light coating for a release agent. Supposedly the oil does not hurt the resin in the amount you'd be using and the real non-sticking agent in Pam is actually the soy lecithin
