i like west systems epoxy kit, it's more expensive than the uscomposites stuff, but i got mine cheap off ebay, i've never used the uscomposites stuff, but from what i understand, it's pretty much the same thing.
1st method of attack, grind out all of the glass that is damaged. then feather out the edges for a few inches so the epoxy can get a good hold.
if you can get to it from the inside, rough it up in there and put the cloth on from the inside a few layers thick. i'd use a heavier weight cloth. paint the surface where the cloth will be on the inside (if you can get to it) with the resin, put your cloth on it. dabb it on with a brush. make sure the are no dry spots on the cloth, (that means there's no resin in that part of the cloth)
on the outside you could use cloth or mat, to fill in and give strength. after that dries, sand down the excess and us an smc filler or a 403 filler or something like that to get the body smoothe.... for paint....i'm a rattle can guy. have a paint dept mix up a rattle can that'll match and call it good:biggrin:
i really don't know much at all about this, but this has worked for me and we need more stuff to add to our search!!
