no updates went up to raystown for the wknd was almost killed by a seadoo with some jack--- doin like 55 if i didnt duck it woulda took my head off.
this wk im gonna focus on the firewall and gettin everything mounted.i said i was gonna do that last wk but i never came up with the inserts.I did locate the glue thanks Bobby I appreciate the tip.
Ill get better pics when i wash the mold realease off and trim it up better but a few things different about the hull is ovbiously the nose and the pole bracke it 1in lower.also their is a flange that goes straight up on the inside of the hood seal that makes that area so much stronger and also prevents the hood from sliding over on it.

had to install footholds and scupper in a buddys boat so didnt get far thrue the wk but i did get the motor mount plates

and located the inserts im gonna use.the motor plates are 1/2 alumnium with stainless timeserts that are sealed up in the alumnium with loctite to prevent corrosion between the 2.i just located where the motor would be and centered it.the pump isnt in so im not ready to glue the plates in yet.

just pulled the hull out of the mold today i laid it up fri.i was unshure on what weight i was looking at getting i was thinking on the heavy side.when i was laying it up i was keeping the sides thinner thna the bottom just because i was planning on reinforcing the sides when the top was bonded on but it really doesnt need it i didnt realize the stregnth of s-glass.but i will do a layer of carbon just to be shure.the weight on a bathroom scale was 28lbs and rock solid i couldnt be happier.by the wknd i plan to have the mount and incerts all glassed in place.let me know what you think

how many layers did you put

While everyone is down at Dslickers ride i thaught id get off my lazy butt and do something.so i got the firewall made up and located it in the hull gonna go down later to epoxy it in thehull.and after that i just gotta put the rideplate inserts and intake grate inserts in and hopefuly by wed ill put the topdeck on.I was really dreading squaring the driveline up since i never done that before but it couldnt have went any smoother.

Love the nose, lowered pole mount, and the hood seal, kinda SXR styled. Lookin good, wish I could thrash all these new type hulls to see I they can take some real abuse! :brap:

Ive been finishing up the final touches before i put the topdeck on and decided id check the weight so i threw the topdeck on and threw it on the scale. topdeck bottom 4motormounts and midshaft it came in at 63lbs.i was very impressed.now their will be some more weight added with the glue to stick the top on not that much and their will be some taken off when i trim up everything.but im super happy how its turning out and cant wate to start another

Over the wknd i got the top epoxyed on and left it clamped down for 2 days with some weight on it.after work today i came home and trimmed up the hull so i can start prepping it for paint.I trimmed the rails down to 1 1/8 oem hulls are aroun 1 1/2 and i hate lifting them because th rail digs into your fingers where the smaller lip isnt as bad and it also looks pretty neat.after i trimmed it i decided to throw it on a scale again just to see how much the glue added to the hull.but i stripped out the midshaft and some hardware motor mounts still in id didnt believe it but after trimming up the hull it weighed in at 60lbs.im gonna take it on a digital big scale tomorrow to be shure.I also thaught it was gonna take some reinforcing but witht he top on and the firewall in this thing is rock solid so just cosmetic reinforcement.here is a few pics

looks great but i have a couple questions: How did you align the pump without the pump shoe in? where are the cooling lines?
