I went to farm&Fleet today to get some wheel bearings for my trailer!

Found:

-
- Engine Flush kit for $2.00 (has on/off valve also)
- bearing for Intermeadiate bearing housing!
- High vibration with heat shrink electrical connectors for my sparkplugg wire project.
- Champion sparkpluggs for my FX-1 and Superjet 650

Has anyone ever rebuilt their Wheel bearings on there trailer?? What is all needed?? I have a shoreland trailer and am not sure what size of bearings to get??

Errr.....most hardware stores will be carrying all of those items, except perhaps the switch.
Those items are not PWC specific.

As for the bearings, pull the old ones out and take them with you to the store.

I was at Ace hardware last night and they didnt have the higher quality marine grade connectors!

They didnt have the switch

The engine flush kit thing was double the price

Did not have the spark pluggs

Farm & fleet had everything and more for alot less $$$$$$$$$$

What makes NGK better than champion??? Is this the type of comparrison like "which oil is better"???
I have seen tests show that cheap walmart oil held up better in a motorcycle than expesive motorcycle specific oil!!

If you own motorcycle, you DO NOT have to buy "motorcycle specific" oil. I heard it right from a Spectro sales rep and have seen alot of testing that proves it also!! Its all marketing!!!

I was going to get NGK but the Farm & Fleet stopped selling NGK products. I went with Champion "power sport" pluggs for my SJ 650 and Champion automotive pluggs for my FX-1.

When I bought my FX-1 two years ago it had Autolite automotive pluggs in it!

i do not believe that. car motor oils dont need to lubricate the transmission and clutch also.

Walmart 2 stroke oil is actually made by Pennzoil if memory serves me correctly, so it's not an off brand. And I'd LOVE to see some "Tests" that prove it's better than others.

It wasnt Walmart oil, It was Coastal(cheapest at autozone) that out-preformed Spectrol, Yamalube, Suzuki "motorcycle specific" oils. My jaw dropped!!!

I have been rebuilding motorcycles for like 6 years and I did my big "oil Vs. oil" research about three years ago.

Yamalube and suzuki oil preformed the worst
Shell rotella and mobile did the best.
A bunch other car and motorcycle oils were in between

A good friend who was a Spectro oil sales rep even gave me the real deal on how you can use regular car oil in your motorcycle without it and adverse effects!!

Alot of peopel use Castrol or Shell Rotella in there bikes!

Go to a motorcycle shop and get the contact info for one of the Oil sales reps!!

Contact him or her and ask them to provide documented/hard proof as to why you should only use Motorcycle specific oil vs. automotive oil.

Its a big misconception and all too many people fall for it because the Reps just tell the shops people have to use this oil because it is circulated through the transmission and engine! Motorcycle oil is just over priced car oil!
