ok went withthe 135's for main jets today and kept my pilots at 80
man, this is the closest yet. i get hard pull, i feel like my rev limiter is kicking in on top though, no bogs or hesitations leading up to wide open
but the last 1/4 throttle seems to do nothing,
is it mandatory to modify or run aftermarket cdi's on a motor with a b pipe and ported cylinders, could i be hitting my rev limit? or is there somethig else going on,
i have a grey /tan color forming on my plugs so far. i was thinking i could be lean but as i turned the high speed adjuster out , the further i went the less top end i had and the stuttering started to come back
i am at 1 1/8th turns out now, and maybe should still could come in a 1/4 turn
maybe that is my problem
if the head pipe is not adjusted will that cause some limiting in rpms?c
but man, so much better with that jetting than what i have been having
to recap, stock n&s and spring, pilot 80 ( 70 is stock) and 7/8's out main 135 ( 130 is stock)and 1 1/8th out
