factory pipe help

Picked up a blaster a few weeks ago has this style factory pipe I believe its a dry pipe doesn't seem to hit as hard as the mod pipe did on my old ski. There are no adjustment screws that I can see any idea on how to get more punch on the take off on this running stock 701 single carb stock prop 20140823_105438.jpg

What type of head would suggest and prop ski is super fast at high speeds but im gonna surf more with it

Something to raise compression up to 185. (35cc domes) Ada head is fine. 9/15 hooker, Solas Concord 13/15, Skat large hub etc etc. MSD Enhancer would help a little too. Best thing would probably be to sell or trade it for a mod pipe though.

+1 for selling it. People are always looking for them, they are pretty rare. Get a mod pipe and do the above mentioned mods.

I've been running one of these pipes for over 15 years and love it. I started off small but when I went to a fully modified 62T motor, this pipe really woke up. The mid range and top end of this pipe is awesome. When I switched from the stock 38's to 46 mm Novi carbs, I got a lot more bottom end. This pipe really needs a motor setup that breaths.
The only issues I've had with this pipe is that it leaks a lot between the exhaust manifold and the chamber. You really have to dry fit it and line it up good before you put the coupler and O-rings on but it will still need replacement O-rings after each season.
