Other f**t knee

It was a great day riding today, but I :):):)t my knee really bad. The knee twisted towards the other one and there was a pop. I didn't feel much pain, but usually I am not pain sensitive. I only feel pain when I force the knee towards the other knee as I got the injury. Tomorrow Im going to see the doctor. I really hope I didnt f** my knee too bad, cuz I just fell in love with that little blue toy..
However, do you guys ride with some sort of knee brace after an accident like it, anything that could prevent or lower the chance of happening again?
thanks
D.

That really sux, but I will bet that the pop you heard was your ACL and/or miniscus tearing. I popped by ACL wakeboarding, and tore miniscus jetskiing several times. I found knee braces to be useless, surgery and lots of rehab to get back on the water again...

Did it sound like you were opening a pepsi can? That is the sound of one going.Done mine snow skiing a few years ago.l wore my brace for one season skiing until it felt strong again. But l hated it.Good luck,l hope your injuries are minor.

From what I have read on the net it looks more like MCL (medial collateral ligament) stretch or tear, which is the internal side ligament of the knee. I couldn't see the doc today, will visit tomorrow. I can bend my knee, and my leg is stable. I assume if the ligament is torn the leg would be hanging quite loose. The pain increased a lot since yesterday, but it appears only when I stress the knee towards the other knee.
It happened so miserably.. I fell backwards as I was standing sideways, making left turn with the left foot forward. As I was falling, my right foot did not slide and stayed on "glued" due to the non-slippery shoes, but my entire body kinda pulled the leg and caused that twist in the knee. I'm sure if my legs were stronger that wouldn't happen.
