I dont know what the doc. called it... But I say its F_cked Up !
Here is an xray, what he called some name for dislocation of my vert. in neck.

I got into a little fender bender, and it kicks my arse..
I can land on my head all day long and no problems.. go figure !:banghead: :banghead:

The X-rays did not scan to well, but a sum up is there...
I drew on the one, and the line is how far off my neck is..
The top vertbrae and the next one down are off almost 1/2 inch...
you can see how off, from the third that is cirlced....
I dont get it, but its been hurting for almost a month....
Sucks, but working on fixing it with Chiropactor, then another
Orthopedic opinion soon to come....

vehical impacts are a pain in the neck, i remember being sore though out my entire body after i wrote off my jetta years ago. when you see it coming you tense up so much. i question if chiroprators actually do anything good without having to go to them for the rest of your life.

My mom fell from a horse many years ago. She landed on her side and was in horrible pain. Could not walk, or even sit without extreme pain. After 4 ERs and 1 specialist told her she needed to lay down for months and take somas we decided to try a Chiro.....She walked out of his officed with 0 pain. Said if she had did what the Doc told her to do she would have never been able to walk again after a month.

I dont support one over the other, but Doctors and Chriopractors both have their place and I see one if im sick/dying/bleedings if need be and the other for any kind of bone, muscle , and aches.

Chrios have saved my ass a time or two from landing upside down on my neck from skateboarding. I've never been in so much pain and one twist of my neck and it was pretty much gone..

i know many people that do use them as well, it just seems that they are never done...comeback next week and we'll do more. I get sore backs and muscle pains all the time but never go because i don't think they can fix me in my line of work. I would undo anything he did the next day at work. Your right they do have a place just not in my life. For others i sure they are a blessing.

a once a week or bi monthly visit alone can do wonders. One visit doesnt cure most problems, its gonna be done over a period of time to where your body accepts it, like fixing skolosis(SP?) My moms problem was "fixed" on the first visit but a continued treatment afterwards helped alot, she has nervous damage but no longer any pain there.

Also, the ultra sound and therapy treatments can relieve alot of soreness and aches. I love it

I know what your saying. My dad (who is an excavator as well) went to a chiropractor for a long time because his back always hurt him. It would help for a day or two but then he would be right back where he started. He does not go anymore. Its just an endless money pit.

In our line of work, Its not worth the time and $ to see a chiro. in situations like petes, and wastelands mom, I could definatly see how it would help.

i guess people live with pain differently then others. you can mask it with pills, or use the doctors. gotta love a hard day of working the ol back only to drag it back out to the water when you get home for a couple tanks.
