This is a beta version for the tech faq so add anything you can think of and I will update it. This is assuming you have a good running 650 in the ski.

Parts you need.
1: 701 head (61x or 62t*)
2: 701 cylinder (61x or 62t*)
3: 701 cases (61x or 62t) actually all you need is the top case half, though mixing cases is not recommended.
4: 701 pistons
5: 701 piston rings
6: 701 gasket set.

Tips for doing the swap:

*intake manifold must match cases, you can use the 6m6 44 SBN on a 61x manifold.

*upgrading the CDI from the 6m6 unit to either 61x or 62t is recommended, ups revs from 6700? to 7150?

*if your using 62t cases and stock carbs (or front pull), i recommend swapping to a rn throttle cable, but it is not necessary.

i have had no problems using the stock SN cable with my 62T cased 61x cylinder engine in my 93 square, though it has not had many hours put on it.

what i ran into is i had to loop the cable in the nose a little and beside the tank so it would fit the stock intake location. it works, i just thought it was a good place for a bind or pinch.
in other words if i had a sn cable i would run it. if your buying anyway get the rn in this situation.

im sure your fine ox, i put probably 25-30 hours on mine before it broke and it was an old cable to start with
