PWC's are mostly racing & competition over there.
In Germany, for example, it is not legal to have PWC on about 99.5% of all available waterways.
Additionally, you need to have a boating license (a real one, not the joke that's peddled as a license here).

The Number One Western Country where people DO NOT complain about noise and pollution is the US, by far, hands down.

My bro has one, its not a bad ski but it is alot heavier than the original blaster. It has a 66e motor with 120hp but its like getting off a wooden stool onto a leather sofa compared to the blaster 1, to big and heavy for me. Each to there own i guess.
