Epic Swell Alert For East Coast Florida

Just got back from the Mason Avenue ramp (lunch break) - waves were Soooo sweet!:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Glassy smooth, no wind ripple at all, looong period, breaking in nice long tubes. Tide was super high, so most of them were breaking close in, with a few breaking out deep. Most were 6 footers or better. Lots of smoke in the air.

Yesterday we had double overhead at deerfield..and Clean!!! That has never happened in my life time. The news is calling it the 50 year swell!

No way was this the biggest swell in 50 years!!! Maybe 15 year swell. Look up Oct 31 1991. That was sick, sick, sick. We surfed at a break called 2nd light at Patrick’s Air Force Base. Biggest I've ever seen on the whole east coast. I'm so jealous of you all that got a piece of this swell. Especially you Adam, I used to surf Deerfield once in a while and when it's good, it's real good. Still think in a perfect would I would have went to Reef Road for this swell.

it was better earlier on. when we got there at 1:30 we saw 3-4 foot breaks in the southeastcorner. sux but it was better than when you got there.
p.s. were did you dissappear to?? we thought you guys went to get your trucks to pull your skies out, but you never showed back up.
