Engine power problems

Triple check the spark plug boots, a few skis here in Washington have had the feeling that it is almost hitting a 2500rpm rev limit on and off. the boots got replaced and that fixed it. When the ski is lugging does it have the feeling of "extra vibration" or like "buzzing" feeling?
Not exactly. Felt like a rich bog that lasts waaaaay too long.

Good idea. Also make sure the aluminum thread on nuts at the top of the plugs are not toast.

I've seen the aluminum nut's threads be totally gone and the nut is just sliding on and off. Not to mention now the entire cap is full of aluminum dust. Shot.

Better yet, just replace them now with solid top plugs to be sure.
The plugs and boots seem fine but not ruling anything out without confirming first. It has MSD boots that look brand new and has a nice solid click on the plugs.

Ok so we tested the charge coil and pulser coil and they were both in range and almost exact with a known good stator. On the ignition coil, it has new wires and the MSD boots. From what I read, the MSD boots do not have resistors. What would happen if you ran non resistor plugs? The ski currently had B8HS installed. Also the CDI unit is a WSM unit which I know nothing about. Another big culprit is the wiring mess. Previous owner changed out every connector and they seem sort of junky. Pulling some apart, they broke so that can't be helping either.
