Not retiring the sea doo, it's like van halen said "The best of both worlds"..

EME Q8 (Kawasaki SXR) TV footage
This Q8 is so nimble and light -- amazing I'm 100% on rolls using my own set-up wake in choppy water now and thats with stock motor, pump, impeller -- not bad for a sit-down guy who's pretty old...
Here is Rosie yesterday in a channel 7 TV shot.. I'm doing the play by play, then riding it. Big PR for freestyle at 8am on a sunday, as good morning america ends..

Yep, SXR motors are wayyy faster than SJ motors. The only thing holding you back is the weight. My ski rips now with my light hull.

I got to ride her Q8 about 2 weeks ago and was comfortable on it in about 45-60 seconds. It was strange, when I first got on all I could think was how short it was then a minute later that feeling was gone and I was doing setup wakes. Her footholds didn't fit me at all, but I was still able to get over 1/2 way around on roll attempts after maybe 4 minutes of riding. If it had some more compression it would be super nice, I think she's running a barely milled stock head and the B pipe, that's it.

When I got to the indoor watercross event the Q8 Kawi motor wouldn't start, so we figured out the stop switch was shorting out the spark.. Found some Corrosion, cleaned it up and it ran much, much better than at the Great Miami River days.
I'm sure we picked up the corrosion at the salt water event in Nova scotia..
