Super Jet eBox rewire. Need some help please...

I purchased some JSS stuff for my electrical box and I'm trying to put it back together, but have a couple of questions.

The new quick disconnect cables that attach to my starter relay included a small eyelet, that I think, connect to the starter relay and consists of a red wire and red/black wire.

I've connected the red wire from the eyelet to the red wire of my MSD ignition enhancer, then ignition enhancer red wire splits off and I connected that to the fuse wire.

But there is another red/black wire that comes from the eyelet and I have no idea where it's suppose to go. Any ideas?

Also, all the pics on JSS's website show eboxes with no fuse. Do you need to run a fuse?

Yea, that first pic is essentially what came with my MSD enhancer, but the pic doesn't address the two issues I have.

1. where does the red with black strip wire (provided with JSS quick disconnect battery cables) lead go to?

2. (and I forgot to ask this in my first post) what do you do with the Pink and Black wires that go to the stock over heat sensor. I assume if you plug them together, that would complete the circuit and retard you engine. Other than just let them hang around in the box there, what can you do with them?

1. For that red/black wire, it looks like its coming off the starter relay, which should be brown. so connect that to the s/s switch

2. iirc jss doesn't run fuses or atleast that's what I've heard. Regardless I don't run fuses.

3. Just let the pink wire hang, do not connect it to anything.

Sounds right

JSS doesnt run a fuse, but you are cooked if you connect battery backward or have other issue.

3. Just let the pink wire hang, do not connect it to anything.

Correct

See above in yellow

Let me see if I can add to (make more difficult) this question. Here's a picture of the Yamaha starter relay. The two main cables that bolt to the threaded studs go to the positive terminal of the starter and the other goes to the positive terminal of your battery.

The thin black eyelet wire is grounded within the electrical box and the brown male bulleted wire is connected to the female brown wire on the start/stop switch.

So... here's pic of the JSS quick disconnect battery leads and the included red and red/black eyelet wire. The eyelet is connected to the starter side threaded stud of the starter relay. The female red wire is connected to the male red wire that comes off the MSD ignition enhancer (that red wire off the ignition enhancer then splits out to a female red that connects to the glass fuse).

So, the remaining question is... what the hell is this red/black wire for???

Out of my jurisdiction i'm afraid, will have to contact JSS about it now.

My only thoughts could be for maybe a (+) connection for a bilge switch, or a provision for that jumper wire for those with msd. If all other reds are connected then you are fine.

The eyelet is connected to the starter side threaded stud of the starter relay
This should be on the battery side, else power to the msd will only active while hitting the starter
