SXR e-box bracket

hi everyone! i plan to remove the e-box bracket to mount the e-box directly on the firewall.anyone does this before? ?how to do it? any pics? im thinking to buy some hull insert to fixe it...... any idea?

Its easy if your ebox has the three mounting holes in back, I used rubber spacers between the hull and box.

Hit up kx454. He is the first to do it. I think he just drilled holes through the hull and used large washers...

the original mat hide the bolt or you have to turf all the dashboard?dont want to seethe bolt

It isnt much weight, sheet metal SS. I guess every little bit adds up, I would keep the bracket myself. Have you gotten a Anti Gravity battery? Save ya 10 lbs right there.

no but ihave buy a balllistic this winter,by my calculation im -12 pound,and all the liner in the hood have been remove-10 pounds heres and another 10 pound of no needed stuff thats 30 pound less.maybe i think its gonna make a differance,plus tdr waterbox a wetpipe another near 5 pounds less....-35 not bad at all.

FWIW, I'd keep the bracket, or drill it out. It is actually a decent bracket.
