Super Jet dype9 vs type4?

bought a type 9 pipe only to discover on delivary that its actually a type 4, what are the performance differences in these 2 pipes?

You will feel more bottom end with the type 4. The type 9 is taller, requires more intial timing and also likes high compression to perform well. The type 9 makes more overall power but needs more attention to get it .

I run a type 4 on a 718 jetmaniac, and have tryede a B pipe the type 4 comes on later but harder. The type 9 is a alot bigger an proberly harder too mount a buddy off mine took a picture with a type 9 and the PFP side by side thy look alot alike.

thanks trcky and stefan good info to know, these pipes get a lot of jip but i wanna find out for myself what they are like! is the type 9 worth more or about the same?

The PFP is almost a type 9 layed down or so I hear..

Try the 9 it will bee intesresting too hear if it makes more power than the 4

Fit water injection to the Type 4 and it will hit harder than a B pipe and make more power through the entire rev range, then after 6 months of replacing blown couplers with alarming regularity you will probably buy a B pipe.

you could be right chris, i am currently running a b pipe just wanted to see what these pipes hit like, and got one cheaper than any b pipe would be so itl do for the other build, sure the trial and error is half the fun! thanks for the input.
