ever thought about doing it yourself? its a handy skill to have. getting it done somewhere is one of those things your just going to have to call around and figure out. you can get a car painted for 200 or 5000 all depends on who is doing it and what products they are using.

dude im right there with you. planning on painting my ski but i did a few threads here and pwctoday. most quotes people get from shops are like $400+ to have them paint it after ski has been prepped by yourself

a few board members said they did their first ski paint for under $100 and they loved it. thats buying they're own gun and paint.

my problem is, if i paint it i have to do a bunch of other sh*t while its stripped down. (reinforce, refoam, returf, paint) and all that starts to price up! :banghead:

do it yourself.

cheap gun, air compressor, decent paint, and GOOD prep work.
and it will come out great.

once you have the stuff, then the next job only costs a small fraction of the initial job.
hook some buddys up and share a gun and the consumables cost.

haha. i actually could do that. i have a pad on the side of the house down the street. i was thinking of building something over there, and i can use my work compressor or something...that MIGHT work...hmmm i need to design a scheme though for the ski!

get on of those P.O.D.S... portable on demand storage, in ur driveway. Cover the walls, paint in there.... my friends done that before.

remember, black shows imperfections the best
