Other dual carb fuel return setup

so..this is my first set of dual carbs since the squarenose days.......




which way does the return need to be setup or does it matter???

I was told by FS to do it the first way, which im assuming it doesnt matter then. Possibly because of pressure caused by the restriction after

you never want two flowing liquids to come together like in pic 2, too much back pressure

I use "Y" fitting and not "T" fitting with same line lenght from each carb..........
