Well, I've been halfway slacking with the weight loss, but on the other hand, I've concentrated more on lifting. It paid off both ways, bad and good.
I went from 183 to 190, but I can def. lift more now.

I am now back on track to trim some fat. Much needed. I'm a short mofo.

I need to get in on this. I've put on a lot of weight (20-25lbs) since I was injured a year ago. I could really use the motivation.

At 183 this morning, even after being bad this weekend with some malted hops and barley and a $5 dollar sundae.
181. Another 2 pounds. That's 15 since New Years. Where's everybody at?

183 +/- depending on the day, still headed toward 170-175. I can wear my Slippery neo-board shorts again!

Related to that, I finally got to see Supersize Me. Wow, I'll never eat another McNugget again.

I packed on 10 pounds over the winter. I'll be back to 183-185 soon enough between riding and working out. A haircut and shave might help lose a pound or two.

I've been hovering in the high 170's now. Lowest I was last week was 176. This is right were I should be, I think, so I don't plan on any more weight loss. That's about 20 lbs since New Years in 3 months!

good for you all. Been drinking too much, I think it's offsetting my bike ridiing and weight training. rock on everyone.
 
I've been really slacking on my efforts to drop gut.

I busted a rib the week prior to the PNW Longbeach Freeride, then messed it up some more in the surf.

Since then, I've been tinkering around the house on all sorts of projects and eating like a king (and trying to nurse the rib). Problem with me is I haven't limited my intake, or really done anything to offset the intake - like go for a walk even (worked out 3 times in the last 3 weeks) - a broken rib has a little to do with that...

I'm up to 230# as of today. I'm a little surprised because I don't feel heavier. My clothes fit about the same too - my pants haven't shrunk.

My rib is not bugging me so much so I'll be concentrating on cutting weight by a combination of diet (portion control & just plain putting down my fork), hitting the ropes and pounding pavement.

My goal - 202# by the end of May...!

I have a little incentive - a couple friends are joining me at the gym. One's training for marathons (guess who will coach me running) & the other just plain gets in my face.

I had my bodyfat measured via calipers. I'll post percentage when I get the numbers this week.

Great job guys. Keep at it. I'm still at 176-178 depending on what day it is. I would be neet to see 175-174, but I'm not worried about it at this point.

Down 3.1 lbs to 226.6 without changing too much. Hopefully the next couple weeks will be better.

I was 180.2 yesterday morning, I hope to be solidly under 180 by next week. It's been a loooonnnggg time since I was one-seventy-anything.

as I sit here drinking a Mountain Dew - these things are evil

I was 206 at one point last year, and I'm 180 now, so it's doable. I'm still planning on hitting 170 or so.
 
Started the diet and then stopped. Two weeks ago i was at 196 at work with clothing on. now i am down to 190 and jogging two miles a day. got the bike out and rebuilt it and i should be ready to add another type of work out by tomorrow. i have some people at work who are doing the same. i want to be down to 180 by memorial day below 170 by July. I could be doing a 100 mile ride first week in may
