Drive Shaft bent from rope, midshaft next?

Ok. I own a 1997 Sea Doo XP and I sucked a rope tie down with metal hooks up into my impellar about a week ago. The metal did not make it past the impellar and just hung out. I replaced the drive shaft and it still vibrated when I started it. I then replaced the mid shaft bearing kit and it still vibrates when started. The bearing itself moved about 45 degrees to the left after I started it. Now I am looking at replacing the mid shaft assembly and hopefully that will fix me up. My question is whether or not I could have bent the crank shaft in the process? The machine starts without problem, which leads me to believe that the crank is ok. Im praying its just the midshaft replacement and I will be back on the water. Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Prop and wear ring look good. Vibration makes the drive shaft spin funky, which is the reason I believe the mid shaft is buggered up. not to mention that it takes a few tries to get it started like something is bound up. Is this logical thinking?

That bearing assembly has to be aligned on those skis.
Take out the front driveshaft and check it for run-out.Inspect the couplers and white bushings also.Check the rear shaft for run-out also.Install the bearing assembly and align with tool. Then reinstall all of the rest of the driveline parts.

What is the tool called that I need to align it? Also what exactly am I doing to make sure that all is aligned properly so I dont get this crazy vibration?

Thanks again.
