My friend and I just bought 2 JS550s. I was looking at the differences and his has this trim like thing. It has a lever on the bars and a tab moves down into the jet nozzle. What is the real name for this and where can i get one. It looks real useful for subs and stuff. Do i even need one. If this is a stupid question sorry. I am brand new to the sport. thanks

One of the most stupid mods of all time, "The Rooster Shooter". Sorry.....worthless. All it does is shoot a rooster in the air, kinda like the stock Yamaha shooter everyone removes.

That might be a Roost Boost (or Rooster Booster, whatever it's called) for throwing a rooster tail while riding. Pics!

I dunno what a rooster booster is, but I bet what was described was a trim system mod.

I is a rooster shooter. I remember them from the old days. It was all for show and spraying people ( when that was socially acceptable ). I think if you used it for that today you would get hauled to jail for attempted murder by forced ecoli infection

Oh boy...Talk about useless mods...
The first time I saw one of these,a guy nicknamed "Crazy Dave" had one on his 550. One of his favorite tricks was to "pull the trigger" and hose people crabbing as he drove under a bridge. You know those little bridges you feel the need to duck going under. Needless to say, the "folks" on the bridge threw their trash down on us on the return trip back. They missed me, and Dave hosed them again.
