To Air is Human
My only knocked out, trip to the Hospital, 3 months off from work and lost my job because of it was because I tried to push off. This resulted in broken ribs, torn ligaments to the knee and a severely bruise femur. My hemotma went from my balls to my toes.... never let go:brap::brap:

You are correct...I throw things away WAY more often on the blaster. I just wanted to show my shin bone again .

I was also trying to illustrate that sometimes throwing away the ski is in your best interest. Unfortunately, in that incident, there just wasn't any real way to GET away.

are you missing teeth in that pic as well?

Nah man but that was the first thing I checked when I got my bearings. I can't imagine if I hadn't been wearing a full-face helmet... Did the same thing as Jerry on a blaster but came out of the straps way earlier (and had plenty of time to let go in retrospect....) :banghead:

Me: "Not too bad, but you might want push your lip up towards your nose."

im a bailer..it a habit i need to break...yesterday i went for a reentry and launched out too far and landed way down in the flats and totally compressed myself...there was no way i was going to hold on to that one but it resulted in my ski sitting upside down for about 30sec resulting in a 2mile tow back and 730cc of water in my motor...no fun..

I did that once (didn't let go) and saw stars when I landed... and I never hit my head on anything... re-entry's can be brutal

Letting go once on a Blaster rewarded me with 4 broken ribs and Robert giving me a piggy-back ride on his superjet.......Not being able to breathe and getting 2 stroke exhaust streamin' into my helmet.. That was fun..:cool2:

This is the kind of thread that makes me want to jump onto my new ski and start doing tricks in a sport I know nothing about! WTG guys!

I suppose that since I am sitting awake due to pain in my neck from a failed front flip wakeboarding, what does it matter which sport kills me? WTB daylight for skiing!

if your upside down, never let go. But sometimes it still happens. The impact of the wave was so huge, that it just ripped me of the ski. Bf gone wrong. but I had luck and the ski landed infront instead on top of me. Seeing the ski above me was damn scarry:1zhelp:
