does any one know what this plug is for on a pro tec pipe?

the plug goes right into the exhaust chamber. any one know what its for? water injection? i had it come loose one day when i was riding and that kinda ruined my day cause i couldn't figure out what it was.

its hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like an injection hole might be underneath that plug. and, yes... that could ruin a day of riding.

time to order that b pipe!
