Nope. On the Sxr the Exhaust goes around the front of the gas tank.

why does kawi run it around the hull, why don't they go straight back on the exaust side. I know the people building arn't idiots and there is a reason, just I have not been able to figure it out. At first I was thinking of cooling purposes, but then I realized you don't want to cool things off in the engine area. anyone got an explantion for this??

My SXR has a wayyyy bigger water box that fits in front of the gas tank. It wouldn't fit anywhere else.
I am guessing it is for the waterbox.
