Not sure how to vote. Don't have one, never seen one. But it is a proven method of corrosion control. If there is a sacrificial anode in my sj, I've not seen it.
But that doesn't make it a bad idea.
leave it if it is there but most the water drains from the cylinder anyways so it is not really a problemn for sj ,but could be for some sit downs specially if they are on a slty dock or in the water all the time
They do nothing in our watercraft. These engines were designed with other applications in mind, not just watercraft. The anode would have some value if it was submerged in still water.
