Did 2007 Slippery Matrix Change

I am needing a new vest and I was curious if the 2006 and 2007 Matrix were the same. I read a few complaints about the buckles on the older Matrix being in the back. Online it says new quick-slide buckles and I'm not sure how that works or if it solves the complaints I read about. Anyone seen them yet or know? Some pics looked like side buckles.

No, they haven't changed yet. I need a new vest too and am waiting for the new ones. I bought a 2006 and I sold it because of the buckles. I am hoping when they change them (supposed to be in March) they will fix that.

I normally like Slippery products and they sponsor a lot of Freerides so I am waiting to see what comes out this year.

i totally agree.. i've been using my same 2001 suit (blue and orange) waiting for them to bring back a cool looking suit again. I got frustrated waiting, as my suit started falling apart... so I just bought a Mormaii... I'd rather have a Slippery, but i don't like their offerings lately.

If it's like my 06 slippery vest, the buckles are towards the back and it's nearly impossible to unbuckle them after you're tired from riding or wearing a wetsuit. I hate that design.

thats what i thought,i had the same problem with mine until i realized you never have to unbuckle them.just rock the buckle foreward and pull and they will loosen all the way very easily.then the vest comes off like a t-shirt

every time someone borrows my slippery vest they have the same problem,it should come with instructions:biggrin:

I didn't like that you couldn't reach them with the vest on...Takes too long to take on and off. I love Slippery products otherwise. I am sure they will fix it this year! :hail:

why would u want the buckles any further...the matrix is a pullover and if they were any more upfront,they might as well make it a buckle up

another plus from it is the buckles dont scratch your hood/handpole when doing hood tricks:biggthumpup:
