But, I guess it proves that Maro's 24/7 footholds really were strong enough to not need foam to support them and give them strength like most of the others!!!!!!!!!

Bunk statement. I have 24/7's on both my ski's and I reinforced the backsides before install because they looked and felt to thin IMO. I know I would of cracked or broke them for sure.

You can cut aawy the post if necessary. Its basically there to locate to bulkhead and secure it until the glue that is around the bulkhead dries. The bulkhead is secured by the glue at this point.

Yup, cut all that crap out and get that scupper down on the bottom where its suppose to be. Thats pretty useless where its at now.
